Every team gets its own pages, made to embed on school sites. Nothing on them links away from the team.
/teams/<team id>/<sport>, for example /teams/<team id>/football: the full game page of the team's current game. That is the live game, else today's game, else the last final, else the next game. It checks every 45 seconds and switches by itself. ?dark=1, ?light=1 and ?hide-win-probability=1 work here too./teams/<team id>: the team's games in every sport, with the filters of the games list (all but My teams)./teams/<team id>/games/<game id>: a game from that list, with a button back to the team. The widget builder shows the team page links and their embed code for both teams of the picked game.
For visitors west of US Eastern time, games with no start time yet showed the day before their date. They now show their own date, and the day picker lists each day's games by the Eastern date.
Add ?hide-win-probability=1 to a game link to leave the win probability chart out of the game page. The widget builder has a checkbox for it.
Each team stat now shows as one bar in team colors, split where the two teams' shares meet, and the team names head the card.
Next to My teams on the games list, a menu lists your starred teams, and each one can be removed from there.
At some neutral-site games, a team's logo and colors showed next to the other team's name and score. Each team now keeps its own.
Live Stats now uses the Archivo typeface throughout, with condensed numbers in the stat tables.
Pick a day on the games list from a calendar, or come back to today with one click. Days follow your time zone, and the day stays in the address with the other filters.
Football game pages get a Drives tab: the current drive while the game is live, a drive chart, and each team's drives with their statistics.
Football and basketball game pages show the win probability chart under the score header, with the biggest swings of the game marked.
While a game is live, its period and clock show in green and a score pops when it changes. Next to the date, "Updated 25 seconds ago" tells how fresh the numbers are.
Star a team on a game page to add it to My teams, then press My teams on the games list to see only their games. Your teams are kept in your browser.
Read the play-by-play oldest or newest first. Your browser remembers the choice for every game.
Basketball game pages get a Shot Chart tab with each team's made and attempted shots by zone.
Scroll past the score header and a thin bar with the score stays at the top of the game page.
A Team Stats tab compares the two teams stat by stat, with bars in team colors.
A Top Performers tab puts each team's leader side by side, category by category.
Add ?noheader=1 to a game link to share the game on its own, without the way back to the games list. Add ?dark=1 or ?light=1 to show it in the dark or the light theme, whatever the visitor's setting.
Every game has its own page: a score header with the line score, then tabs for the box score, the play-by-play (one tab per period, the latest open) and a summary. The page refreshes every 45 seconds until the game is final.
Every game on one page, 25 at a time. Filter by status (Live & Final, Live, Final or Scheduled) or by sport, or search for a game. Each row shows both teams with their logos and colors, the score and the status, and opens the game.
The filters and the page number stay in the address, so a filtered list can be shared and Back and Forward work.
A score strip to embed on any site, at /widget/<game id>: both teams with their logos, colors and records, the scores, the status and a mini line score, with the winner marked once the game is final. It fills the width and the height you give it, and refreshes every 45 seconds until the game is final.
Printing a game page leaves out the buttons and the tab bar, and uses the light theme whatever the screen shows.
A game link shared in a chat or on social media shows a preview image: the sport and both teams, with their logos ringed in team colors.
Build the embed code at /widget: enter a game ID or pick a game, choose the widget, the theme and the height, and check the live preview. Then copy the widget link, the game page link or the ready-made iframe code.
A win probability chart to embed, at /widget/<game id>/win-probability, for football and basketball games. Before the first timed play it shows both teams and the game date. Like the score widget, it refreshes every 45 seconds until the game is final.
